April marks an important anniversary in my quilting career. Last April, I was given the chance to teach at the New England Quilt Festival (formerly MQX). It was the first time that I taught at a national show and was such a huge honor. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I found out that I really love teaching….probably even more than quilting itself. I love that the quilters in my classes are so inspiring
Whew, I capped off a super busy February with a trip to QuiltCon where I had the pleasure of hanging out with several fun groups of quilters! I think if there is anything I love more than quilting, it’s hanging out with a group of quilters. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of doing just that! Me and 24 of my quilting friends hung out for my Machine Quilting the Modern Quilt class. I had so much fun, and really enjoyed this group. They laughed at my silly jokes….. They tried out some new designs…… They had a lot of fun…… But
