Thanks so much for the sweet comments on my Paisley Feather Video Tutorial! Since it went over so well, I made another one!!
The Swirl Hook is a fun variation of a basic swirl design that was in my first book, “Free-Motion Quilting with Angela Walters”.
I love to use it in blocks that have points, such as triangles or stars. Those hooks can reach right into those points and help you fill in the spaces so nicely!!
But even though it’s not a hard design, it’s easier to learn when you see it in action. In this video tutorial, I break down the design and then show you how to use it in a meander. Hope you enjoy it!!
Once you master the Swirl Hook designs, check out this quick video that show you how to use the Swirl Hook design in a diamond-shaped block. Another fun way to use the design!
I hope you enjoy, let me know if you have any questions!!!
