Thanks so much for the sweet compliments about my upcoming workbook!! I can’t tell you how much they mean to me!!!
It just so happens that I also quilted the quilt on the cover of Julie’s pattern, which was pieced with all solids.
It was so fun to quilt the same quilt made with prints, and awesome prints at that!!
I told Tula that one of these days we should record our quilting conversations. They are actually kinda funny! With this quilt, she said that she wanted something feather-y and awesome. Then she joked that, really, only one row of the quilt was going to be shown in her booth at Quilt Market.
Which turned out to be the case! Here’s the finished quilt in her booth:
So I joked back that I would just quilt one row really good. Turns out, she really liked the idea so I ran with it!! Well, I didn’t quilt only one row really good, I just quilted one row different from the rest. That way, she could pick which one she wanted to display!
Here are some close up shots of the quilt:
I always have so much fun quilting her quilts!!
Here’s hoping that the quilt that you are working on today is just as fun!! Happy Quilting!
