Happy Monday! I hope you all have had a great weekend! Today, we are going to take a walk down memory lane and talk about my good friend in this industry….Tula Pink.
It’s a great sew along with some great prizes….in fact, you may be interested in the grand prize….but first let’s look back at some of the quilts that Tula Pink and I worked on together:
One of the first quilts that I did for her was back in 2009…..it was to debut her Hushabye collection.
From that first quilt, it was very obvious that we clicked creatively. It wasn’t too long after that first quilt, that I quilted her Cartwheels quilt.
This was the first time that I ever did trapunto on a quilt. To see more pictures, check out this blog post about it.
I even carved out a little time to make a quilt out her fabric as a part of the Project Plume challenge…
In fact, I quilted all her quilts for her plume fabric collection.
So started the trend of Tula making incredibly awesome quilts and letting me quilt them! Another set of quilts that really stick out in my mind are the quilts for her Parisville collection.
The panels that hung in her Quilt Market booth were a labor of love for sure!
Check out this post for more pictures of the Parisville quilts
Then came her Prints Charming quilts….
And of course, when she wrote her first book, she let me do the quilting on those quilts as well….
And who can forget Nightshade?
Whew! That’s a lot of pictures, but it’s only a few of the quilts that we have worked on together! Here’s hoping there are several more of them in the future. But back to the point of this blog post…. The winner of the grand prize for the City Sampler Sew Along will have their quilt quilted by me! That is, if they want me to…..
So what are you waiting for?? Check out all the details about the sew along here.
