It’s no secret that I love quilting Tula Pink’s quilts, her innovative fabric designs and quilt patterns are always a blast to quilt! One her quilts, Peaks & Valleys, was featured in her booth at Quilt Market. It also happens to be in the October 2013 issue of American Patchwork & Quilting.
Now that the issue is out, I can blog all about it!
As usual, it was a so fun to quilt! She gave me the quilt with the instructions, “Go all out!”. So I decided to keep with the jagged, angular look of the quilt.
It definitely looks likes peaks and valleys, but I think it kind of looks like crystals….or even spikes. Regardless, I was thrilled with how it turned out!
How about an artsy shot of the quilt?? It serves no purpose except to look pretty…..
I always like to look at her customized quilt backs, so fun!! It definitely leaves no doubt as to the owner of the quilt!
Be sure to get your hands on a copy of the issue. Not only does it have the pattern for the quilt, it includes a great interview and behind-the-scenes pictures of her studio.
