I can’t believe that in less than 36 hours I will be leaving for Portland, OR to be a part of the International Quilt Market (a trade show for all things quilting related!) It’s been a busy couple of months up to this point, but I feel like everything is coming together and I hope it all turns out just as I envision!
It’s going to be a busy, fun weekend!!
After arriving and setting up my very first booth (eekkk!!!) I will be giving a schoolhouse at 4:55 in room A103/104. If you are going to be there, I hope you can make it. I will be debuting my next fabric line with Art Gallery fabrics and sharing the story and inspiration behind the collection. The people who come to my schoolhouse will get the first look at it……..but don’t worry, I will be sharing it on my blog soon after. I am busting with excitement to show you!!!
My Booth, #1437
If you are at market, please come by and say hi!! I will have (what I think) is a show-stopping quilt, machine quilting demos, an interactive collage as well as a fun surprise. My friend, Molly, has been busy making some spectacular items to fill the space. I don’t think you will be disappointed! (by the way, yesterday was her birthday, pop on over to her blog as say “happy birthday” if you have a moment!)
A couple of sneak peeks of the quilt that will be hanging in my booth…..
(Hint: the quilting designs have a lot to do with the fabric line!)
On Saturday at 1 pm, I will be hanging out at the HandiQuilter booth demonstrating how to quilt the designs that inspired my second collection. Besides quilting and talking (my two favorite things!), I will be giving away prizes.
Like I said, it should be a fun and busy weekend!!!! I probably won’t blog a whole lot while on the road, but I will be sharing pictures on Instagram, in case you are interested.
On a different note….I can now say that my name has been on the Wall Street Journal’s website!!
Another thing I can mark off of my quilting bucket list!!! Happy Quilting!
