Yesterday started out a good day and ended up being a great day! I was in my studio directing a photoshoot, with some of my favorite quilty friends and my favorite photographer, Briana…..
When a box containing my yardage from my first fabric line, Textures arrived at my doorstep. Needless to say, the photoshoot was paused so that I could rip into the box and squeal over all the fabric. The fact that there were other people there to share in my joy, made it all the better!
Briana, being a sweet person, grabbed her camera and took pictures of the fabric…..it was a great time all around.

I don’t think I went into detail how hard it was to get my fabric line picked up. Every step of the way was a learning process and there were several times that I doubted that it would happen. But the struggle makes achieving the goal even more satisfying!!
My favorite print would probably be the Swirls…….

And of course, the Right Angles quilt panel. I cannot wait to start quilting on one of these!!

Now that I finally have the fabric in my hands, I am going to be working on some videos and tutorials….stay tuned for those. And, I am excited to be designing a second line for Art Gallery Fabrics…..I can’t wait to show you what it looks like!!!
