I am so glad that she finally announced it because that means that I can finally show pictures of her amazing quilts!
I have a different approach when quilting a collection of quilts, such as a group of quilts in the same book. Usually, I try to use similar quilting designs in different ways. I think that it helps them stay cohesive, yet interesting and original. Hopefully you will agree with me as I show you the many quilts I quilted for her. (Of course, I will spread them out over the next few weeks!)
First up, this one:
This was one of the first quilts that I worked on and when I opened it up, I knew that this was going to be a fun group of quilts to quilt.
Since we have worked together before, I felt like I could go all out……and that’s what I did! I particularly love the quilting in this border.
Some close-ups of the back of the quilt….
I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy of the book and make my own quilts!! Oh, and I owe a lucky winner a copy of the Machine Quilting Unlimited magazine. That lucky winner is Nancy!! Nancy, send me an email with your contact info and I will get it sent out to you!!
