I really enjoy quilting quilts that have a clear inspiration….especially when it’s fun inspiration! Case in point…..Tula Pink’s Anchor quilt:
Tula designed this quilt for her booth at Quilt Market and when she showed me the quilt top, I just knew it needed a rope. So that’s what I quilted!
I wanted the “rope” to took like it was wrapped around the anchor.
In the gray and white stripes, I played around with some new, favorite designs.
I always like quilting, but some quilts are more fun than others….and this one was a lot of fun!!! I couldn’t be prouder with how it turned out!!!
On a different note, have you seen the latest issue of Machine Quilting Unlimited?
I wrote an article in it, Feathers for Modern Quilts.
What?? You haven’t seen it yet? Well I just so happen to have a copy to give away! Leave a comment on this post and I will draw a winner on Friday!!
Happy Quilting!
