Happy Weekend! Don’t you just love fun and lazy Saturdays? Today, I finally get to share a quilt that I quilted over a year ago.
When I received the quilt top from Kelly, I was excited to quilt it. Especially once I heard that it would be in a book that she was writing with Andrea Johnson, “Modern Designs for Classic Quilts“.
It’s hard to tell in the picture (and for some reason, I can’t find the pictures that I took of it!), but I used the quilting to create a grid in the background.
I think that quilting a large feather in the background would have looked good as well. But, then again, I am partial to feathers!
How about checking out the book for yourself? One lucky winner will get a copy! Leave a comment on this post and I will draw a winner on Monday!!
Contest is over!
